DENSIMET is available in many configurations and sizes. Blanks or finished parts can also be manufactured to drawing supplied by customers.
Subject to a maximum weight of 400kg depends to a great extent on their geometry.
Round bars:
Diameters up to approx. 160mm
Rectangular bars:
Cross sections up to approx. 250*250mm
Discs:
up to a thickness of 200mm and a diameter of 400mm
slabs:
up to a thickness of 540mm, a width of 170mm and thickness of 75mm approx.
The alloys D 17,D 175 and D 18 are also available in the form of sheets, minimum thickness 0.1mm, maximum with 500mm and maximum length 1000mm. Punched parts can be produced, too.
The alloy D176S can only be produced in the form of round bars with a maximum diameter of 40 mm and a maximum diameter of 40mm and a maximum length of 800mm.
On request, centrifugal weights for gyrocompasses and similar rotating symmetrical parts can be tested up to 1000 000 revolutions per minute with our centrifugal testing apparatus.
