The size ratio of repair materials and lining materials should be consistent. Boric acid dosage can be slightly higher. Sometimes, a small amount of water or water glass can be added to make it easy to form. For the serious damage of the crucible, after cooling, pulling off the surface layer of the crucible, according to tie crucible steps, first repairing bottom, scraping the bottom shape of crucible with scraper, and then putting into the tungsten crucible mold, the knotting and repairing of crucible wall can be carried out. 

Because the repair part of quartz sands layer are thin, the knotted time can be shortened, the repaired crucible can be baked and sintered then.
