Composition of titanium alloy TC4 material
The composition of titanium alloy TC4 is Ti-6Al-4V, which belongs to (a+b) type titanium alloy. It has good comprehensive mechanical and mechanical properties. The strength of TC4 is sb=1.012GPa, the density is g=4.4*103, the specific strength is sb/g=23.5, but the specific strength sb/g of alloy steel is less than 18. The modulus of elasticity of titanium alloy is lower, the modulus of elasticity of TC4 is E=110GPa, which is about 1/2 of steel, so it is easy to deform when titanium alloy is processed.
TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V) and TA7 (Ti-5Al-2.5Sn) titanium alloys were modified by two injection schemes. The experimental results show that the microhardness of titanium alloy is improved by ion implantation, and the coefficient of sliding friction is reduced remarkably, and the wear resistance is improved effectively.
