What is molybdenum concentrate?

Brief introduction:
Molybdenum reserves in China occupy world front row, Liaoning,  Shaanxi, Jilin, Shanxi, Henan, Fujian, Hunan, Guangdong, Sichuan and Jiangxi province all have large molybdenum reserves. Molybdenum reserves also have good development conditions. Molybdenite has industrial value and about 99% of the molybdenum ore is exploited in molybdenite (MoS2) state. At present, China’s molybdenum concentrate is mainly exported to Russia, Japan and Western countries.

Characteristics of molybdenum concentrate:
Molybdenum concentrate is lead gray, and has metallic luster. Molybdenum concentrate belongs to hexagonal system. Molybdenum concentrate has soft and slippery feel.

Applications of molybdenum concentrate:
Molybdenum concentrate is used to produce ferro-molybdenum, molybdenum, calcium molybdate, ammonium molybdate, lubricant, etc.
