Process Principle of High Purity Nickel Foil/Strip
Our company used Jinchuan nickel as the parent material, according to the phase transformation of Ni, before melting in solid, the impurities sulfur and phosphorus are reduced by using sublevel reduction method, and using slagging method and vacuum to purify, the vacuum degree is to 3 Torr.
Vacuum smelting of nickel strip has the following advantages:
1. The gas contained in a liquid metal can be discharged rapidly so that the gas content of the melt is very low.
2. The oxidation loss of the alloy element is greatly reduced, and the amount of oxidized slag entrapped in the melt decreases sharply.
3. Melt does not need cover agent and flux, and melt is not easy to pollute.
4. To improve the properties of metal alloys, the impact toughness can be increased by 80%, the endurance strength and elongation are increased by 30%, and the shrinkage of the section is increased by 50%.
Analysis of 16 impurities, the purity of nickel foil reached 99.93%, analysis of 11 impurities, the purity reached 99.93%, the total amount of other elements is less than 0.01%, compared with the world nickel processing advanced countries, the purity of nickel is obviously improved. Segment reduction and slagging technology is a national initiative. Sulfur and phosphorus were reduced to below 10ppm, the resistivity is less than 0.068 ohm mm2/M, to ensure the stable and uniform resistivity. It can meet the production requirements of rice electric products. Hot rolling cold rolling is adopted in the process, which not only reduces pollution, but also saves energy. The medium rolling mill and finishing mill are made of imported multi roll mill. The thickness is thinnest 0.02mm, tolerance is controlled at + 0.001mm, the hardness of material is uniform, and the specifications are M, 1/4Y, 1/2Y, 3/4Y, Y. The narrow strip process is made of strips and machined by German import equipment. The rectangular section is regular. This process is precise, difficult, high quality products. The narrow width is 1mm, the minimum size of 0.02*1mm products, the curvature is less than or equal to 0.5mm/M, the production has good welding performance, conductivity and good oxidation resistance, good smoothness, state specifications.
