Production of tungsten and tungsten alloy tubes
The melting point, strength, hardness, ductility and toughness of tungsten are higher than those of ordinary metals. Although it can be used to produce tubes, such as extrusion, forging, rolling, drawing and so on, it is very difficult. Using the conventional metal process to produce tungsten pipe to take some special measures on the lubrication conditions, mold materials and other requirements are more stringent. At present, the special method that Zhengzhou Sanhui Co., Ltd developed the production of tungsten and molybdenum tungsten pipe is vapor deposition and spinning method. The method for preparing tungsten tube billets is powder metallurgy, high efficiency, high rate of finished products.
Production of tungsten tube by chemical vapor deposition method:
The production of tungsten tube by vapor deposition is the plating on the surface or outer surface of steel pipe or copper tube. When the inner surface is deposited, the tube itself is a reaction chamber. The utility model has the advantages of high utilization rate of fluoride, and can be used for producing pipes with arbitrary length of 12-75mm. When the outer surface of the core tube is deposited, the core tube should rotate at a constant speed to ensure uniform coating.
1. Production of thin tungsten tube by CVD method
2. CVD method for the production of rear wall tube
Production of tungsten tube by spinning:
Technological process:
The spinning equipment and tools of tungsten are the same as those of molybdenum. However, the melting point, high temperature strength and brittle transition temperature of tungsten are higher than that of molybdenum, therefore, the process parameters are significantly different. Now, the tube blank has been produced by powder metallurgy, after hot spinning to produce seamless pipe with a diameter of 12-9mm, wall thickness of 0.3-0.25mm and length of more than 600mm.
Manufacturing process of spinning tube blank:
1. Charge:
Putting the particle size in the 3.5-4.0um range of tungsten powder into the middle of the core of the plastic sleeve, both ends sealed. The core rod shall have a hardness of more than 40HRC, the roughness Ra is 1.6um, and has a taper of 0.005%. The size of the core rod is determined according to the actual shrinkage of the tube.
2. Isostatic pressing blank
3. Sintering
The tube blank is sintered in a molybdenum wire furnace at 1300-1400 degrees for three hours and then sintered in a vacuum furnace or a hydrogen protection induction furnace. The sintering temperature is 2400 degrees for three hours.
4. Spinning
The spinning process is carried out on the steel ball type hot press.
