Titanium has high melting point and good activity, in the molten state, it can quickly dissolve almost all known substances, therefore, it greatly increased the difficulty of melting and casting technology and molding process, so as to make the development and application of the casting titanium plate lag behind wrought titanium. In recent years, with the further development of the research and the continuous improvement of process and equipment of cast titanium plate, the production of titanium plate has been greatly developed. At present, it has been able to cast all kinds of titanium plate castings below 700kg, in which the precision of titanium plate castings is close to the level of steel castings.
