What is tantalum
? Tantalum is one of metal elements. Tantalum is mainly in tantalite and it is always together with niobium. Recently, demand for tantalum keep weak stability and tantalum price remains stable.Tantalum wire
is made from tantalum powder by rolling and drawing processing methods. Tantalum is a filamentous tantalum material.Material: RO5200,RO5400,RO5252(Ta-2.5W),RO5255(Ta-10W)
Available size:¢0.25~¢4mm
Standard: As per ASTM B 365-98
Properties of tantalum wire:
Tantalum is very hard, Tantalum can be drawn into wire or thin foil. The thermal expansion coefficient of tantalum is small. Tantalum has excellent chemical properties, such as high corrosion resistance. Whether in the cold and hot conditions, hydrochloric acid, concentrated nitric acid or in "aqua regia", tantalum has no chemical reaction. Tantalum wire has the same properties of tantalum.
Applications of tantalum wire:
Tantalum can be used for manufacturing the evaporating dish and also can be used for electrolytic capacitor, electrode, rectifier. In medicine, tantalum is used to make flakes or sewing thread to mend the destructive tissue.
Tantalum wire is widely used in electronic industry. Tantalum wire is mainly used as anodic lead wire of tantalum electrolytic capacitor.
Special requirements of tantalum wire will to be agreed on by the supplier and buyer of negotiations.
