Nickel based alloy is a kind of alloy which has high strength and certain corrosion resistance capacity at 650 to 1000℃and other comprehensive performance. According to the main performance, the nickel based alloys are subdivided into nickel base heat-resisting alloy, Ni base corrosion resistant alloy, nickel base wear resistant alloy, nickel based precision alloy and nickel base shape memory alloy.

1. The ocean: ocean structure in ocean environment, sea water desalination, seawater aquaculture, and sea water heat exchange etc.
2. The field of environmental protection: flue gas desulfurization unit of thermal power generation, and waste water treatment etc.
3. The field of energy: nuclear power, comprehensive utilization of coal, and tidal power etc.
4. The petroleum chemical industry: oil refining, and chemical equipment etc.
5. The field of food: salt manufacturing, and soy sauce brewing etc.
6. In the aerospace
Ⅲ. The representative material of nickel -based alloys
1, Incoloy alloy, such as Incoloy800, the main component is 32Ni-21Cr-Ti, Al; and it belongs to the heat resistant alloy;
2, Inconel alloy, such as Inconel600, the main ingredient is; 73Ni-15Cr-Ti, Al; and it belong to the heat resistant alloy;
3, Hastelloy alloy, that is Hastelloy alloy, such as Hastelloy C-276, the main component is 56Ni-16Cr-16Mo-4W; and it belongs to the corrosion resistant alloy;
4, Monel alloy, that is Monel alloy, such as Monel 400, the main component is 65Ni-34Cu; and it belongs to the corrosion resistant alloy;
