Mo has small effects on warm blooded animal and fish, but molybdenum with high content has adverse effects on plant, experiments show that: when molybdenum concentrations ranged from 0.5 to 100 mg / L, it will produce different effect on the growth of flax; When the molybdenum concentrations achieve 10 ~ 20 mg / L , it will harm the growth of soybean; When the molybdenum concentrations achieve 25 ~ 35 mg / L, it will have little harm to the growth of cotton; When the molybdenum concentrations achieve 40 mg / L, it is harmful to the growth of sugar beet. In the water Mo concentration reached 5 mg / L, biological self purification water will be restrained; When the molybdenum concentrations achieve 10 mg / L, this effect  will get greater inhibition, and water has strong astringency; When the molybdenum concentrations achieve 100 mg / L, the growth of water microbial will slow down, and the water has a bitter taste.
