Application of titanium alloy in satellite control system
Satellite control system is the orbit to control the satellite in the space of the universe, which is called satellite’s brain. In this system,the titanium alloy is also used.

The application of titanium alloy in satellite engineering is earlier, due to this kind of cylinder is a pressure vessel, so the requirement on the material is high, in addition to the requirements of the material with high strength and high toughness, it also has a strict control to the material defects, such as inclusions.
2. Titanium tube for actuator
The titanium tube for actuator is the connecting conduct that deliver the fuel for control engine of satellite, it not only requires that the material has the corrosion resistance to the media, but also it requires that the pipe has good air tightness, and no pores, holes and inclusions, etc.. It has more stringent requirements for the inner surface of the pipe, no cracks, pits and other defects, the surface scratches shall not be greater than 0.03mm. If the inner surface is not smooth, as long as 0.05mm residual particles left, such as dust, it may appear pipeline blockage and cause the accident.
3. Titanium alloy self-locking valve
The self locking valve not only requires that the material has good shear strength, fatigue and impact toughness, it also requires that the welding has tightness and corrosion resistance.
