Chemical properties: Oxidation resistance, at room temperature it is very stable in the air, but at high temperature oxidation resistance is very poor, when it is heated to above 300 degrees, it will be oxidized, with the increase of temperature, oxidation is strong.
Corrosion resistance: Tantalum has good corrosion resistance in most acids. At 150 degrees, tantalum can not be corroded at any concentration of hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid and organic acid. However, tantalum can be dissolved in a mixture of hydrofluoric acid, hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid, which is more soluble in the mixture of hydrofluoric acid and hydrochloric acid.

The grade is Ta1, annealing state, tensile strength is 545MPa, elongation is 22.5%, the surface hardness is 140HV.
