Application:
Capacitor grade niobium wire and niobium alloy wire are mainly used as anode lead of niobium electrolytic capacitor.
Mechanical property:
The mechanical properties of the common capacitor grade niobium and niobium alloy (annealed) are as follows:
NB filament grade Nb, tensile strength is more than 245MPa, elongation is 15%.
NB Zr wire grade is Nb1Zr, the tensile strength is more than 650MPa, elongation is greater than or equal to 10%.
Electrical performance:
The performance requirements of niobium zirconium wires are as follows:
Supply soft NB Zr wire, the tensile strength is less than or equal to 650MPa, the elongation rate is more than 10%, the leakage current is less than or equal to 10UA, the capacitance in 0.04-0.08UF 120Hz, the dielectric loss angle tangent value is less than or equal to 3%. The properties after annealing in 1450 degrees are: tensile strength less than 650MPa, elongation rate higher than 5%, the grain size is less than 125um.
Process performance:
Before sintering, the bending of common capacitor grade niobium and niobium alloy wire is more than 25 times, in 1450 degrees, 30min > 15 times after sintering, the surface quality is smooth, shiny, no burr, grease, scars and other defects.
Selection suggestion:
As the niobium electrolytic capacitor is still in the stage of research and development, it is also in the development stage of the sample, and the quality and specifications are also more. Capacitor manufacturers have different requirements, we should combine the manufacturing process and production level with their own niobium capacitor in the selection, and match the capacitor grade niobium powder and the chemical purity, appropriate choice of capacitor grade niobium zirconium wire or varieties and specifications.
