The corrosion resistance and the main use of the environment:
With the control of Cr, Mo, W content and Fe content, C-22 alloy exhibits the properties of oxidation resistance, acid resistance and acid resistance, as well as corrosion resistance to mixed acid. The alloy is especially suitable in acid halide environments pitting and crevice corrosion. C-22 Ni Cr Mo alloy is same with C-276, which contains carbon and silicon and extremely low tungsten content. It has the same characteristics: 1. in the oxidation and reduction state, it has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive medium, 2. it has the excellent resistance to corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

C-22 alloy is an almighty nickel chromium molybdenum tungsten alloy, compared with the Ni Cr Mo alloy, it has better corrosion resistance, including C-276, C-4 alloy and 625 alloy. C-22 alloy has good resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking ability. It has excellent antioxidant ability of water medium, including wet chlorine, nitric acid oxidation or containing chloride ion mixed acids. At the same time, the ability of C-22 alloy is the ideal resistance process of oxidizing and reducing environments. Depending on the universal performance, it can be used in some of the headaches in the environment, or used in the multi-function workshop. C-22 alloy has unusual ability to withstand various chemical environments, including strong oxidizing substances, such as ferric chloride, copper chloride, chlorine, thermal pollution solution (organic inorganic), formic acid, acetic anhydride, CU, water and salt solution.
