Inconel 601 near brand UNS N06601/W.Nr.2.4851
This alloy has the following characteristics:
1. Has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature
2. Good carbonation
3. Good anti sulfur atmosphere
4. Have good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature
5. Good stress corrosion cracking resistance, because of the control of carbon content and grain size, 601 has higher creep fracture strength, therefore, in the areas above 500 degrees Celsius, 601. is recommended.

The corrosion resistance of Inconel 601:
One of the important properties of 601 alloy is oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1180 degrees Celsius. Even in very harsh conditions, such as heating and cooling cycle, the 601 can form a layer of dense oxide film and spalling resistance is very high. 601 has good resistance to carbonization. Because of high chromium, aluminum content, 601 has good oxidation resistance in sulfur atmosphere.

Inconel 601 application scope:
1. Heat treatment tray used in the factory, basket and fixture
2. Steel wire strand annealing and radiant tube, high speed gas burner, industrial furnace of mesh belt.
3. Catalytic support grids in the isolation tank and nitric acid manufacturing of ammonia reforming.
4. Exhaust system components
5. The combustion chamber of solid waste incineration
6. Pipe support and ash handling parts
7. Exhaust gas detoxification system components
8. Oxygen heater
