Properties and Applications of Nickel Tungsten Alloy Coating
1. Coating properties
① Bending fracture method: The nickel tungsten coating is bent from 180 until the fracture is broken. The coating is free from falling off and the coating has good adhesion.
② The oxidation resistance of nickel tungsten coating is respectively continuous burning 1H at 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 temperature furnace, the coating without peeling, slag removal and weight gain phenomenon, indicates that nickel tungsten coating has higher oxidation resistance.
③ The hardness is not treated by heat treatment. The hardness is 594 (Hv). After 800 degrees of heat treatment, the hardness is 830 (Hv). The hardness of the beta -Ni4W alloy with atomic ratio of 4:1 is as high as 672.8 (Hv).
④ The thermal fatigue resistance used 4Cr5MoSiV matrix material to coat nickel tungsten alloy coating. After heating to 800 degrees at room temperature after 10s, heat preservation l0s, water cooling 5S below 100 degrees 10s, and then heating to 800 degrees, so hot and cold cycle for 250 weeks, three specimens did not find any crack, it indicated that the thermal fatigue resistance of the coating is high.
⑤ It has unique tribological, self lubrication, magnetic, optical, electrical and electrical corrosion properties.
⑥ High heat resistance, the wear resistance, oxidation resistance and good corrosion resistance is good at high temperature of 800 degrees centigrade.
⑦ The chemical stability of nickel ferro tungsten alloy: The coating is dipped in 1:1 sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid and concentrated hydrochloric acid for 3.5H, it is not corroded and it has no change dipped in the mixture of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid for 2H, it also has high temperature resistance and wear resistance.
⑧ Nickel tungsten boron alloy coating has excellent wear resistance, low stress, high hardness and corrosion resistance.
2. Application of nickel tungsten alloy coating
① Excellent chemical resistance, for use on PTFE tools.
② The utility model has good peeling property and can be used on the glass mould, and the service life of the die can be greatly improved.
③ It has good wear resistance, oxidation resistance, good self lubrication and corrosion resistance under high temperature, which is used in internal combustion engine cylinder, piston ring, hot forging die, roller, contactor, clock, movement and other parts.
