This specification covers hot- and cold-rolled molybdenum sheet in standard quality. Molybdenum sheet is produced by rolling pressed and sintered plates.

Zhengzhou Sanhui Co., Ltd also produces a special grade for spinning, stamping and deep-drawing applications.

Up to 800 mm wide, molybdenum sheet is normally supplied in the stress-relieved annealed condition. Wider molybdenum sheet can only be delivered as-rolled.

After one hour of annealing treatment at 800 ℃ in a protective atmosphere, the molybdenum sheet should contain no more than 10% recrystallized material.

The hardness of the molybdenum sheet depends on the degree of deformation. Molybdenum sheet is free of impurities, splitting, fractures and inclusions.

Molybdenum sheet can be supplied with a thickness up to 2.5mm and a maximum width of 610 mm with bright surface, and up to a maximum width of 850mm with matte (pickled) surface. Thicker or wider sheet can only be delivered pickled.

The standard of packing shall ensure that, with normal transport and handling, the contents-molybdenum sheets can not be damaged.
